But in order to get higher rankings, the students performance on testings, attendance, drop outs, etc were taken into account. The higher testing grades and attendance, the lower the drop out rate would rank a school higher than those with different resulting numbers. There were other factors taken into account as well. Including showing improvement in said numbers for something like 3 consecutive years(?).

We live in a district that the schools all ranked in the top 3 ranks. But we had kids that didn't fit with their narrative and instead of getting any kind of comprehensive help, they were eventually pushed out of the district. The local high school told us that because of their grades, they would be better off going to another school because they don't fit here.
