It's parent-teacher night at my son's high school. I may see some familiar faces as a few people I graduated with are working there now. My nephew is a math teacher there as well, but my son is not in his class. I don't usually get much out of such outings since I know the way schools work anyway, but it is good to put a face to the names of his teachers.
 
My parents never showed up at those things and had a teacher tell me that if your parents are not interested in you education why should I be.

You might need to take your gun in your briefcase. This has already brought out threats and anger.
 
Pretty boring night, as the teachers had prepared their presentations for parents who are not teachers. Full house though.
 
Open house night at the little guy's elementary school tonight. Cute to see the stuff 1st graders are working on.
