Like a prof told me a long time ago:That fool has no idea how the world works. Get a better job? Exactly who does he think is going to serve him when he goes into Wendy’s and orders? Who does he think is going to stock the shelves at the local grocery store? Does the fool plan on doing away with his Starbucks and doughnuts?
He does not understand that the economy hurts everyone. Why because he has not learned anything except the hate the democrat cult has fed him
Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach.
In a way Academia can be an insulator from reality.
It really can. To an extent that's acceptable because it's facts and it has to be.
After that prof, I figured I'd go try to live The American Dream.
Academia was like a vortex sucking me in, but I chose a different path.
That prof wrote wrote the textbook for the class, he was A-1.
I never really caught The American Dream, but I've done some living.
