Thank you very much. I believe the article linked in the OP refers to her, among other things, as a "bull ----" artist. Not sure that "artist" applies. Perhaps "bleater" might be more appropriate.

All of this is a given. What I can't understand is the morons who defend her, several of them appearing on this very thread . . .

I happen to agree with you, and have no doubt in my mind that she played a part in Obama winning. But that doesn't change the fact that there are a lot of people who are scared of her, otherwise they wouldn't even bother with the constant attacks. Why would they continuously attack someone who they felt posed no threat?

Have you ever felt inadequate when trying to describe Sarah Palin? I know I have. She is so obviously incompetent, but exactly how she is incompetent has been difficult for me to put into words. I don't know why - but it has.

This morning, I had the pleasure of reading an article by a guy who NAILS the essence of Sarah Palin. The article is titled: "Palinism 101" It is written by a guy named Jacob Weisberg and may be found in the August 16th edition of Newsweek.

The article opens with a definition of Palinisms:

Palinisms occur when Palin expresses one of these views in her idiosyncratically involuted syntax (“It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia”); when she expresses two or more of them in combination (“God’s will has to be done, in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that”); or when she says anything at all in her imitable my sentence went on the Tilt-A-Whirl and got nauseous way (“And I think more of a concern has been not within the campaign, the mistakes that were made, not being able to react to the circumstances that those mistakes created in a real positive and professional and helpful way for John McCain”).

After McCain lost, and after Palin terminated her governorship in the effusion of furious gibberish known as her resignation speech, I have found it mostly funny. To be alarmed by Palin today presumes a Republican Party suicidal enough to want her to do more than run its weekend paintball games.

I can live with whatever flaws, real or imagined Palin has.

She's a Conservative, maybe not Conservative enough, but she understands we have way too much Government and might actually start to undo the Progressive Counter Revolution. Accordingly, she's the target of the biggest disinformation campaign and undending 2 minute hate in American history.

As must as the Left hated Reagan, all the more so for beating their hometeam the USSR, they LOATHE Palin!

They REALLY LOATHE PALIN and that's why I know she'll make a great President in 2010
