Situation A: The people of Alaska "share the wealth" of that State's natural resources equally and consider the State's natural resources the people's, not the government's.
Situation B: A tax filer making over a certain income (as determined by the Federal government) has their taxes increased so a check can be sent to a tax filer who pays zero Federal Tax thus "spreading the wealth".
McCain supporters agree with "A" and oppose "B".
Obama supporters agree with "B" and don't see the difference between "A" and "B".

Palin put alaska in debt, even with high oil prices. And taking from oil companies and giving their profits to alaskans who don't do nothing for it is socialism. Bush built texas stadium with taxpayers money then sold it for a profit. Republicans privatize the profits and socialize the losses.
You don't get it after 8 yrs.
And get ready for romney in 2012. Sarah won't run. She won't even be considered.
