Sarah Palin is not a politician, or at least she hasn’t been one since she left her governor’s seat in Alaska. What she is a cultural phenomenon, a pundit, an author, and a folks commentator. But now, Sarah Palin might get to add reality tv star to her long list of credentials.

Palin went to L.A. earlier this month to pitch a show about Alaska, her Alaska, entitled “Sarah Palin’s Alaska.” The show would take a “Planet Earth” approach to explore the beautiful landscapes of Alaskan life.

Both A&E and The Discovery Chanel are interested in picking up the show, according to the Hollywood Reporter, but they would have to pay Palin 1 – 1.5 million dollars per episode.
