Palestinians Need To Eliminate Hamas - Or They Will All Die

Walls exist in dozens of countries around the world. They have a longtime. extremely high record of success, especially when they are well monitored and guarded.
There is a place for walls. It’s not over an entire 2000 mile border. Even the republicans who controlled the entire legislature for TWO years under Trump refused to finance such a fiasco. But you forgot that right ? Naw, you only remember made up shit.

Sounds like you been DUPED by CNN/MSNBC. They say a lot of far-out things.

It failed because Joe Biden abandoned it.

Believe it or not, Obama did more "Wall" than Rump. Starting with Bush Jr, each president did an average of 73 miles of new wall construction because that is what congress had budgeted for it. During the Obama/Biden time, over 650 miles of "Walls" were built. Meanwhile, Rump did less than 500 miles of wall construction. Actually, It was started with Bush Jr. when Congress authorized 1.2 billion per year for construction. It's been corrected to 1.4 now.

Sorry, but the claimed almost 500 miles of new wall construction for Rump turns out a lie. He only did 150 miles of new construction. The rest was rebuilding already existing walls. The problem was, during those years, Rump spent much more than the was needed. He spent enough for not only the improvements but also 495 miles of new wall construction. There was no way in hell that more could have been done in construction than was done during that time period. It left an excess of materials for the "Wall" for about 370 miles. What Biden did was to sell off the excess. And then he must build that last 20 miles of new construction AND plug up the holes that were left over.

To date, the total wall is 458 miles. Most of that was done during the 8 years of Obama. With the last 20 miles to done in the next few months, that makes the wall (not just wall but security fencing) of 478 miles. May seem to think that the whole 2000 miles can accept a fence. It can't. New Mexico can only have walls in very few places on it's border. Mother nature has put too many obstacles like really rough canyons and extreme temperatures with zero water. Most of Arizona is also special with the terrain making it tough to cross into the US.

When you have some place that just the illegals can't live to cross, why bother putting up even a security fence. Better to do what they are doing now and put boots on the ground. Not to catch the "Invaders" but to prevent them from dying. This isn't always possible as there is about 1000 miles of really nasty territory that just can't be breached unless you bring your own water truck and/or grappling equipment.

The two states that have had the majority of the illegal crossings has been Texas and California. California didn't go for the "Wall" they elected to go with the two layer security fencing with the guard towers, cameras and detectors. But in California, they no longer go through the border on the ground. They go under the ground or use drones for transporting the drugs. There has been some very sophisticated tunnels with lighting, railroad tracks including one that used trucks. California finds these places almost daily. Texas has the same problem but they hide that fact. I think California would also like to hide that fact but the Republicans wouldn't think of letting that happening.

What is left out is, since the big buildup under Obama, the numbers of illegals have shrunk and the numbers of people caught has gone down. The problem is, before "Rump, the ones that were south of Mexico only had to cross into Mexico and apply at the nearest US Embassy. About 15% would get approved and would receive assistance making the trip to cross legally. The ones on the mexican border were able to go into "Halfway" facilities and apply through the US Magistrates. Again, only about 15% were approved. The 15% applying at the US Embassies was blocked by Rump. That means the "Caravan" was created. Before, they numbers were fewer and they weren't sensationalized as much.

IF this is to be taken care of we are going to have to do some legislation in DC to expand the Magistrates, lawyers, redo the visiting worker plans and more.
