If the US treated blacks the way Israel treats Palestinians, we would have put up a wall around Detroit and revoked citizenship of everyone there (after removing the non-blacks). We would deny the city everything from some spices to strong building materials. We would engage in communal punishment and offer them no hope of every being free.
