It's usually somebody who has not respect for election law.
That element seems to reside far more largely on the left than the right. But there's no question that radical elements of both parties are willing to cross the line to get it done.

As a bellweather I submit to you that your far more likely to see a left-winger attacking a Trump sign than a right winger attacking attacking a Harris sign. In fact I have yet to see a single instance of that. I'm sure it happens in some places but obviously had a greatly diminished pace compared to the left.
