Ozempic

It is supposed to help with weight loss and has a few side effects your doctor or pharmacist should review with you

It is also prescribed for weight loss
it does to a non diabetic what it does to a diabetic...why would a non diabetic what that?....it can cause for those people other problems....there is Wegovy which is designed for just weight loss...

If you’re borderline diabetic, or more than 70 or 80 pounds overweight, I would take it. There might be some risks, but there are risks to being overweight as well, and diabetes is of course among them.

If your doctor prescribed it, and you’re not ordering from some unknown compounding company, my vote is to trust your doctor’s judgement.

Is Wegovy the same as Monjouran (or something like that)? I thought Wegovy was for diabetes and Monjouran for weight loss.

Your doctor knows better than anyone on here. Why are you afraid of taking it?
Because i read it can be dangerous some people say that. That's why im afraid but i guess with my weight and borderline diabetes i take Metformin already and the doctor prescribing it i guess its probably okay for me

You have to weigh the risks of Ozempic against the risks of very serious health issues that come with being obese.

If you read thru the trial info from the manufacturer, Novo Nordisk, you'll find that it's very safe and effective when used as prescribed by your doctor.

Metformin is for diabetes and keep taking it. The next step would be insulin. I've been taking it for 20 years and no side effects. Your doctor said to take it Ozempic so why not. Look up the side effects for Ozempic so you'll know what to look for if the side effects happen.
