Basically the wiring harnesses for new IC vehicles is the issue. Ukraine used to make most of them. Every IC car has around 3 miles of wiring harnesses inside of them.
And because Ukraine is busy at the moment nobody can get any wiring harnesses. However since EVs use a different system....they are available....kinda.
EVs are only less than 6% of all vehicles sold...but their supply chain is better in this area.
