My neighbor is a bleeding hard liberal who goes on and on about how “racist” Republicans are because they won’t let “undocumented immigrants” into our country - and then she started up a petition to keep a college-educated young couple from renting the house on the other side. When I asked her why, she said “renters lower the caliber of the neighborhood.”

In fact, I am one block away from the Colored School Museum. I know most of the board and the executive director. About half my immediate neighbors are black. As are many of my customers.
