For elections, we need to think outside our borders - American Thinker

oe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer refuse to listen to the cries of millions of Americans who believe that the 2020 presidential election yielded a dubious outcome. All they seem to care about is winning, while many in this country demand elections that yield trustworthy results. There is a possible solution for this problem, although Democrats will resent it because it limits opportunities to cheat, and conservatives will resent it because it is profoundly humiliating to America.

What exacerbates the problem of political leaders refusing to acknowledge questions about the 2020 election is that mainstream media and online social networks have conspired to censor complaints that the election of 2020 was mangled in favor of the Democrats. When seventeen states appealed to the Supreme Court after the election claiming that the Constitution was ignored by battleground states to ensure a victory for Joe Biden, the Supreme Court, seemingly fearful of the new administration (and the threat of court-packing), refused to hear the appeal. Leaders of the Republican Party, who were anxious to see Donald Trump leave Washington, joined Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer in calling the election legitimate.

A recent article by U. S. News and World Report shows that we compare badly to other democratic governments around the world when you raise the issue of election integrity:A 2019 report published by the Electoral Integrity Project, an independent project based out of Harvard University, found that U.S. elections from July 2012 through December 2018 rated "lower than any other long-established democracies and affluent societies." Each country in the index was given a score out of 100 based on assessments of the quality of each of its elections — including categories such as electoral laws, voter registration and voting process — one month after polls closed.

The U.S. score of 61 — the same score as Mexico and Panama — is the second-lowest among liberal democracies and much lower than other countries in the Americas region, including Costa Rica, Uruguay and Chile. Denmark, Finland and Norway are among the top-ranked countries in the index, all with scores in the 80s.
Even though the swamp won't admit it, they have a major credibility problem involving election integrity. Dubious elections are not new in world history. Most recently, places like Russia and Venezuela have held elections that were laughable in terms of integrity. It was sad in 2020 to see our country join them in such bad company.

Restoring credibility to U.S. elections will require hard work, and it will invite furious opposition from the "win at all costs" coalition. One of the measures we need to employ is what has been done before, in other countries, to promote fair elections. We need to invite delegations from other respectable democracies with reputations for fair elections to come and monitor our elections. Perhaps the humiliating prospect of inviting foreign election monitors will spur our own leaders to clean up election integrity in America.

It is simple: We have no elections. It has been revealed that we only get State Selections. We are living under a state sanctioned coup and worse, our media only dabble in fake news, spin, lies and propaganda and most journalists would drop over if they ever met a REAL news story.

It was the biggest GD election scam since Kennedy got his head blown off. You cheat, you lose.

I agree with you, it WAS the biggest election scam ever!

But when you say "you cheat you lose" I don't agree with that, because obviously that's not the case....the Rats scum POS cheat all the time, like the cheated so easily in this election, robbing American voters...... and what happens?

YIPEEEEE they win....the scum wins.

Theft is not a loss.
True, but it wasn't stolen either. The House and Senate voted against letting a bunch of anarchist scum help trump steal it.
Yes it was stolen. The House, Senate and USSC have their heads in the sand, but that is nothing new. The dirtbag bottom feeding demrats and their establishment GOP bitches stole this one.

In your dreams maybe.

Your tin foil hat is too tight

Really? Is that it? I just need to loosen my tin foil hat? You mean it all just in my silly little mind? A figment of my imagination, Jillian? Nothing to see here you say?

IS THAT WHAT YOU THOUGHT when a few Russians ran a few ads in Facebook, and the democrats all claimed that it cost Hillary the election and Trump collaborated to steal the election? Did you call your senator and tell them to stop wasting MILLIONS of dollars when you knew Hillary hadn't even bothered to campaign in half the states?

Is that what you say when an electrician comes in your home, looks at your wiring and tells you that your wiring could go up in flames any minute? You don't even look, you don't even ask, you just tell him his tin foil hat is too tight and to stop listening to conspiracy theories from Rush?

Why don't you just GROW THE FUCK UP and realize we're talking about the national election of a president here. You were fully convinced it was stolen a few years ago by a few Russians that you spent YEARS digging for the facts, but now with NINETY cases of election fraud staring us in our faces, twenty five just in Michigan alone, all you got to say now is HO HUM, NOTHING TO SEE HERE, TAKE THAT FOIL HAT OFF YOUR HEAD?

ARE YOU REALLY THE KIND OF WORTHLESS SICK POS PUSTULE OF HUMAN BEING THIS COUNTRY NOW CHURNS OUT CALLING ITSELF AN INFORMED CITIZEN?

    .............................................................................

I quite agree.
I believe that debacle on November 3rd was a false-flag operation master-minded by George Soros, Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman, and the turncoat son-in-law, Kushner.

There was no election. No votes were actually cast as poster"2bfreak" diplomatically implies.
All of that activity on Election Day was a ruse. The "voters" the main-stream-media depicted as standing in line at polling stations were actually a head--fake. First, many of the "voters" were the very same cardboard images that dishonest liberal universities deployed to pretend they had their stadiums filled with live fans.

And second, many of those live "voters" were really multiple caravans of Mexican & Central American illegal immigrants. And they got here only because America has been too weak to make our dollar strong against the peso. They got here because of our unwillingness to return to the gold standard and knock those south-of-the-border faux economies on their kiesters.

Now, I'm not willing to go as far as poster "skye" and actually upchuck on any of the "GOP bitches" that poster 'eagle' seeks to snitch out.

But, still.....I remain mildly vexed.

The filthy Democrats stole the 2020 election but worse is that they learned how to produce any result they want with the scam of unverified mail in ballots in Democrat controlled swing districts.

We will never have another honest election. Our Democracy is finished.

"Our Democracy is finished."

Maybe move to Guam?
I've heard said that it ain't America.
So you should be good.
Maybe you'll fit better in someplace that ain't America.

ps....do a little due diligence first, though.

No way asshole. Why should I leave when it is you stupid destructive Libtards that are fucking everything up?

This country belongs to Americans not Communists, Illegals, Welfare Negroes and Queers.

Go someplace else to create the Socialist shithole that you desire so much. There are plenty of place that already have Socialist paradises now.

Eagle7-31, interesting post. Your mention of the Electoral Integrity Project indirectly led me to these, The Electoral Integrity Project The Electoral Integrity Project
and Fixing US elections web sites.

All the faults Electoral Integrity Project seems to perceive within USA’s political elections are those policies generally advocated by Republicans and enacted by them wherever and whenever they’ve been able to obtain the power to do so within any government’s executives’ or legislatives’ offices.
Republicans generally object to the consequences of policies Republican’s advocate and enact whenever they can do so? Respectfully, Supposn

Excerpted from The Electoral Integrity Project :
An independent academic study founded in 2012, the Electoral Integrity Project addresses three questions:
When do elections meet international standards of electoral integrity?
What happens when elections fail to do so?
And what can be done to mitigate these problems?

Excerpted from Fixing US elections :
Experts rate the performance of recent American elections as the worst among two dozen Western democracies. Why? …
… Among Republicans, the proportion who are confident drops to around half, the lowest level Gallup has ever recorded. Similarly, a Washington Post - ABC News poll of registered voters conducted between Sept. 5 and Sept. 8 found that 46 percent of all Americans believe that voter fraud occurs very or somewhat often, a figure that jumps to 69 percent among Trump supporters.

You realize, right, that the reason our elections got such a low rating is not because of fake allegations of fraud but because of voter supression efforts.
