What you meant to say is they (government) has been spending every last dime of your SS contributions for 40 years now and there's nothing but a pile of IOU's from government in the vault.

Those are the same Treasury Notes sold to China, Japan, the UK....Rather than buying them now to collect interest the SSA is cashing them in to pay benefits.

The only way to stop the run away sending of both parties is a Balanced Budget Amendment. That along with term limits for all Congress Critters.
