The 'Occupy' events had open drug use, rapes, attacks, robberies, and left the areas in which they protested trashed....literally trash everywhere. At TEA Party events there was no open drug use, rapes, crimes....except by those liberals who sought to crash the events or impersonate TEA Party members, and they always left the areas looking better than when they showed up.

You also incorrectly, IMO, seem to believe the ORIGINAL TEA Party that formed - those who believed we are taxed enough already, that career politicians have hijacked the government and have elevated themselves above the law / Constitution - is the same TEA Party today. It's not. Michelle Bachman was the 1st politician to try to HIJACK the TEA party, claiming to carry the banner for them and represent them.

The local TEA party here where I live, that I do not attend, became so frustrated and pissed at this hijacking that they changed their names to 'Patriots' in an attempt to take back their movement and message from those who hijacked the original TEA Party. They did / do not support the type of activity you described - shouting people down, etc - either. So when you mention TEA Party, just realize it is a hijacked movement that was forcibly morphed into something else...sorta like what Progressive Liberals did to the Democratic party.
