Oregon governor warns violators of coronavirus 'freeze' could face jail, hefty fines

Those who violate Oregon Gov. Kate Brownā€™s (D) statewide two-week ā€œfreezeā€ issued over the weekend to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 could face jail time or a hefty fine.

According to The Oregonian, violations of the new order, which prohibits indoor and outdoor gatherings of more than six people from two separate households, amount to misdemeanors.

Those who fail to comply with the restrictions could reportedly be fined $1,250 or placed behind bars for up to a month. People in Oregon faced similar penalties for violating the governorā€™s stay-at-home order back in March, the paper noted.

Clearly a violation of the people's 1st amendment right to peaceably assemble.

Kate Brown should be arrested.

Fuck off, you lying fucking retard.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

You're a fucking idiot scuzzball piece of shit.

"A spokesperson for the governor told the outlet that Oregon State Police ā€œwill be working with local law enforcement to enforce the Governorā€™s orders, in the same way local law enforcement officers respond to noise complaints for loud parties, for example, and issue citations.ā€

If you have an indoor or outdoor gathering of more than 6, Kate Brown the governor is coming for you.

She needs to be arrested. If the police won't do it, the people should do it, using all necessary means.

Noise complaints like this one....

The hoax rolls along. Testing way up to 1.4 million per day so naturally gross positives rises accordingly although granted 10% positives is higher now
BUT, according to Worldometer the panic about hospitals being overwhelmed is Fake as hospitalization rate for all positives Still remains around 6%
Like all effective hoaxes, take a valid sinister element and exaggerate it out of proportion to most likely and most lethal

You get what you vote for. Democrats are never smart enough to see problems and make change. We have the exact same thing in my city and cities across the United States. But in all honesty, I think Democrats enjoy dictator like governments; telling them what to do and when they can do it.

When you canā€™t out compwte them, go ahead and cheat them, and lock them down
When your health is too much responsibility, declare others responsible for it and lock them down

This could have a weird turn. Last two years all about criminals being done bad by police. Now we may have law abiding citizens exercising their rights who well may refuse to be taken into custody and may be armed
This is what happens when Liberty and freedom are tampered with over lesser issues.

Under what law?

Did the two houses of Oregon's legislature pass a bill to that effect, which was then signed into law by the Governor?

Or did a proposition get put on the ballot, and voted into law by Oregon's voters?

If neither of these happened, to establish a law imposing these restrictions on gatherings, then there is no law, and no legitimate authority on the part of any part of Oregon's government to enforce it. Anyone attempting to arrest any citizen for allegedly violating any such non-law would himself be committing a criminal act.
