A judge ruled Thursday that the Office of Personnel Management — the central human resources office for the federal government — broke the law when it ordered other federal agencies to terminate thousands of "probationary" employees

The ruling is a setback for the Trump administration’s ongoing effort to dramatically shrink the federal workforce. But it does not appear to immediately help any of the federal workers who have already lost their jobs.

That’s because U.S. District Judge William Alsup stopped short of ordering the agencies to reinstate the fired workers or to halt looming firings. Alsup said he doesn’t currently have the authority to do that.

The judge is lying. The president has the authority under Article II of the United States Constitution.

Biden fired officers that refused to get vaccinated, and purged the military of what they considered "White Supremacists" because of their posts on social media.

If those terminations appear to be politically motivated (like the ones Biden did when he was POTUS) they can file a complaint, but a judge cannot overrule the separation of powers and try to force the president to run the Executive Branch in a different manner. This is expressly forbidden.

Yawn. More LWNJ coping. Judges contradict each others rulings constantly. That’s why we have a Supreme Court.

It won't matter. We are nearly guaranteed to have a major recession within the next three years. Ten of the last eleven recessions happened under a Republican administration. No sane person would bet against those odds.

That's because the fucking idiot Democrats spend like drunken sailors.

Both of those situations constitute "for cause". With refusing to get the vaccine may even be considered insubordination.

Wrong. They can make soldiers non-deployable and put them on the do not promote list, but they can't put them out of the service, because telling someone to get a shot isn't a lawful order. Soldiers can refuse the shot for health reasons. Every one of them has a case for a lawsuit because it's crystal clear that FJB was trying to get rid of conservatives (Trump Voters) which is against the law.

Well, there won't be a recession if we don't acknowledge it....

😉

A record only held because dems refused to acknowledge that biden, having 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth, was a recession

If we just ignore it, recessions don't happen 😊

She currently doesn't have to authority to tell the Executive Branch how to run their business either.
She can just issue silly statements from the bench, which amounts to a simple political protest.
