No one has ever claimed that his actions were a capital offense. The mere fact that he was armed and attempted to obstruct and interfere in a lawful action while carrying a weapon is the cause of his death.

The mere fact that he was LEGALLY armed, never drew his weapon or even put his hand on it to the best that we can determine means the fact that he was armed has no bearing on his unlawful killing by ICE.

The facts of the case are what they are - we can't go back in time and change anything, so this is situation is never going to be a self-defense case. Pretti was on the ground, dog piled by the agents, disarmed by one of them and then shot in the back while he lay facedown and a defenseless on the ground.

I know you all don't care that this happen, and in fact seem to be happy that it did, but what those agents did is still unlawful. Look up some caselaw and the various statutes surrounding when a person, any person - civilian or law enforcement are allowed to use deadly force and you can read what our courts have ruled for yourselves, you don't have to take my word for it.
