One Year Ago Today I Ruined My Life

One year ago today, on August 24th, 2024, I was freshly back from three days at the Democratic National Convention.

When Newsom bombs on a historical level like Harris did. (It was definitely a history making loss with the amount of money spent for losing by such a large margin)

And make no doubt about it....Newsom is going to lose, it's way too tall a hill for him to climb over the way he has labeled himself. The question is really about how much money is he going to spend losing.

That's when the opportunity comes in for either new leadership for the Democrats....

Someone who can create a desirable vision for the future. That will be in SEVEN YEARS. Because they don't have a prayer in three years. The best the Democrats can hope for is for their gerrymandering to be successful enough....but only if the new census poll does not go in the fashion Trump believes it will. (And Trump is likely correct)

Trump is only a "mid" President at best....but since the Democrats have completely abandoned EVERY principle that has brought the USA its success he seems like a groundbreaking wonder. (It really is not that hard....just got to be not self sabotaging. )

So....in three years when every Democrat is running against Trump and 48 Vance walks into the Whitehouse....the Democrats will wonder yet again "What went so wrong" and if Gavin has anything to do with it he'll name someone or something specific that is completely unrelated to the election as being to blame.
