About the only situation I can see for DeSantis which might bring him trouble was his response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which I don't think was as great of a success as he touts. Otherwise, why would you need to muzzle two whistleblowers? I don't see Governor Tough Guy paying off porn stars. He's not Trump. Not even close. Speaking of not being Trump, DeSantis is turning out to be a much weaker candidate than I thought he would. He's not playing well nationally and every time he says something, he comes off as a whiny, mealy mouthed tough guy wanna be. I really wouldn't worry, Trump is running in 2024. Nothing that's happening this week will change that. This is probably the lowest on the worry scale of charges. There's still GA, the whole Mar-A-Lago documents, and January 6th. A conviction on any one of those charges..and he's all done.
