I remember watching it live on TV that night, it was horrific to watch. Angered and saddened me, but the Texas police also earned my respect for not backing down in the face of obvious danger. They put their lives on the line so fearlessly even when it was clear how armed and trained the dirtbag was who they eventually rid the world of.

We could use some like those in Canada. Courage against REAL threats, that saved countless lives.
