Polls should be taken with a grain of salt. 70% may say tax the rich if you word the poll question in the right way but if you explain to people that even liberal economists like Christina Romer are saying that now would be a bad time to raise taxes on anyone then that number saying it's OK to tax the rich is going to change dramatically. People want two things very badly. They want unemployment to be lowered and they want the deficit to be cut. They do NOT want to do something to solve one problem that is going to make the other worse.

Sadly I agree. The population of this country has been mind fucked to the point that there is no point of return. We will become at the least like europe and more likely like central America...Our days as a super power are over within the next 10 years. We will cut the military in the ways Canada, Uk did within the next 10-20 years. We can't afford it anymore. Our economy will remain crap and get worst.

By 2025 America will be a second rate nation at best. The down fall is starting. Within 20 years we will not be a important nation as china and india will be.
