Thanks for the link Said1 but that's not quite what I'm looking for... and yes old school rap can be kid friendly...
Looking for songs along the lines of Ice Ice Baby, Rapper's Delight, Five Minutes of Funk - fun songs that are easy to move to.
I don't think they're gonna like it if I bust out the techno music...
For example, I played Wild Wild West (Will Smith) for my daughter on the way home and she said it would be fun to use that...
I need to build a decent collection so I don't have to use the same songs each practice
Thanks!
What? That's not "hip"? Oh well I tried.EarlSwagger said:Old Skewl?
If you listen to it, Ice Ice baby isn't exactly kiddy material.mom4 said:What? That's not "hip"? Oh well I tried.

Any C&C Music Factory laugh
Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock - It Takes Two
Positive K - I Got a Man
De La Soul - Me Myself and I
Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force - Planet Rock
Herbie Hancock - Rockit
You could also dial up old Parliament/George Clinton or Stevie Wonder, or even old Michael Jackson (Thriller and before)
I can try and think of more if you're interested...
