Speaking of The Movie Channel, I remember when that first came on .. We were like WOW movies at home and of course this is when a VCR was like 800 bucks... I think you could only get it by C ban satillite too.. Well at least thats what we had.. You got everything on the huge satillites for free back then... That was awesome !

I remember when Television first came to our little town in NH, round screen and all. I remember the first time I ever saw color TV, back when it first became commercially available. I remember when HiFi was the thing before stereo came along. I remember our house had a party line (telephone, not politics). I remember never having to lock the doors. I remember seeing table top radios with vacuum tubes in them. I remember seeing Veteran's Day parades with WWI vets in them.
