Oklahoma lawmaker Nathan Dahm files "Kyle's Law" to compensate victims of malicious prosecution

So, as first glance, I disagree with this law. I don't think the taxpayers should be on the hook for civil procedures. If the defendant feels they have been wronged, they can sue those who did the wronging (is that even a word? Well, it is now!)

Thoughts?

Riiiiight. The proven, on-video fact that all three of the people shot were attacking Rittenhouse has nothing to do with it.

Rittenhouse's prosecution was purely for political reasons. There is no rational way to deny this.
It’s only “obvious” to you because of your own bias.

When you kill two unarmed people, the trial is not for political reasons.
When you have both of them, clearly attempting to TAKE HIS WEAPON from him so that they would be armed, yeah... it really IS political. Thankfully, the jury saw that and did the right thing this time. The jury in Georgia also did the right thing. While BOTH instances show an idiot trying to take a deadly weapon from the one who is holding it, the case in Georgia was about provocation and though Arbury was terminally stupid, the guys who chased him were, as well, IMO. The scum in Kenosha had no such cover for their actions. They genuinely died of stupid.

None of this was political.
