I'm not surprised. These entrenched bureaucrats made no secret of hating, fighting, and defying the choice of the voters during Trump's first term. Democrats applauded them.
The guy says early on, "I'm not even being an asshole. I would argue that's my job."

He compares himself to a filter in a septic system. But he does not know how septic systems work. The shit is not filtered. It settles to the bottom to be broken down by its own bacteria and the fat from food floats to the top to be skimmed off by technicians on a regular schedule.
