Federal Employees are restricted by the Hatch Act.
They cannot campaign for candidates, they can’t discuss politics in the workplace, you don’t know and don’t care about the political affiliation of your fellow workers.
A supervisor can’t ask a persons political affiliation while hiring, he cannot push a political party in the workplace.
