Hundreds called public health offices and hospitals to find out if they were supposed to ingest bleach or disinfectants. That’s in addition to those who injured themselves and ended up in hospital or dead taking miracle cures espoused by the president.

In regards to hydroxychloroquine, Trump bought up the world’s supply of the drug after viewing its manufacturer’s CEO on Fox News.

Hydroxychloroquine had being tried as a treatment for SARS, and it was an abject failure in treating SARS. Since COVID-19 is a similar virus to SARS, it stands to reason that drugs that failed to treat SARS would not be a good choice for covid. The early results of clinical trials after Donald Trump had been promoting the drug endlessly for weeks, resulted in a 16% death rate INCREASE at VA hospitals among patients given HCQ and they ceased all trials of the drug out of safety concerns for the participants.

Hospitals around the world which tried similar tests on patients, had similar results to the VA, and trials were quickly stopped in all cases.

Trump continue to promote the use of HCQ because (a) Trump has never admitted to being wrong about anything in his life; and (b) he was stuck with the entire world supply of the drug he had paid out millions of dollars for and he couldn’t give the stuff away.

You didn’t hear about any of this stuff on Fox News did you? You’re still hearing that HCQ is a good drug for Covid on Fox News. And you have doctors on YouTube who will sell you hydroxychloroquine for your Covid because you’re stupid enough to buy it. The Pfizer vaccine was developed with considerable government funds from the German government. Not only did the scientists who developed a vaccine tell Trump to go fuck himself, Angela Merkel caution Trump that he was way out of line and he should never ever do that again.
