Its true you can look it up... the entities that make more when the pump prices are up are states with road taxes on gasoline... the oil companies struggle due to lower sales at the pump.... and the lower grade crude sells for less with more effort to refine it and drilling for thicker crude is more expensive... your simple mind see's the price is up at the pump so you think someone is getting rich... its not true except for state governments getting more of your money... that's why some states like higher gas prices....
