Many people want to believe the all-mighty technology will replace teachers real soon. We have been using technology for some time now, and it is more than encouraged by the admin side. Worse still, too many teachers have come to rely on "learning software" of various sorts. Some have come to use it the way some teachers in the old days would put their feet up on their desks and read the newspaper while students were just told to read chapter this or that. We know that "remote learning" was a disaster.
Looks like humans are still needed after all.
If you talk to a parent about technology in the classroom, one brand of software comes up again and again — and the feedback is typically critical.
