Wow. Trump is learning quickly that it's difficult to trust people. This was uncalled for and of course such names would almost certainly be added (I'm sure he is not alone) just to prevent such a leak by many powerful people who don't want it.

Trump doesn't seem like the kind of guy into kids, just look at the women he's dated, these are mature, bombshell women not kids. Any names in the Epstein files should ALL be viewed with a suspicion unless there is solid evidence, regardless of who is named.

One could even imagine a world in which Trump was such a target that just by association Epstein would profit or have blackmail material which would be priceless. Trump was asked about running for President decades ago and surely those who wanted to have dirt on him would have created the narrative just in case, even if true or not.

The entire marriage seemed like one of convenience. Musk isn't going to help his brand. He can openly speak out against the BBB but he shouldn't cross certain lines. He is the wealthiest man on earth, but the type of dirt that Trump/government loyalist could find on him would decimate his companies. Why would Musk do this? Seems awfully erratic.

It didn't seem as if it would last forever. Musk wants tariffs gone and perhaps certain people named to positions, The entire world knows that world trade has been unfair to America and Trump is focused on this.

As an additional point, which I don't think Musk considered. If Trumps team was keeping this list hidden to protect the names of so many powerful people, Trump might now feel forced by Musks comment to order the names released so he can debunk any false allegations in the files.

HOWEVER, this release would be on Musk, making enemies with some of the most politically powerful people on earth.

I don't think Musk thought this out thoroughly and according to Fox News, Trump asked Musk to leave. Clearly this has angered him.

Musk is a smart businessman and has a creative mind, but this approach makes little sense to me.

I do agree that the debt needs to be dealt with, but the people against this are more feverishly against tariffs.
