Office Depot Refuses to Print Image of Charlie Kirk

For over a decade the left is used cancel culture to run roughshod over anyone they didn't like .fired broke ruin lives
Where was everybody screaming this is wrong? I know I was... many others were..
That's the world they wanted to live in and now they don't like it when the same rules apply to them.
That's what makes it so depressing. This used to be one of the issues where Republicans offered a better approach. They used to believe that it was wrong for government to mandate these kinds of things (bake the cake?). Now they've got their stooge in there and don't give a shit. Phony in, phony out.

You think there should be a law requiring people to print images of Charlie Kirk?
No..... Different circumstances, reasoning, and different issue altogether.

Oh bull chit... You like trying to conflate the issue's in hopes to make some kind of cheap point, but everyone sees right through the bull chit. Stop being stupid.

Yeah? What "kind of cheap point" am I hoping to make?

So, let's cut to the chase. Should businesses, or employers or anyone, be allowed to discriminate based on politics?

Yeah....when it's something that is abundantly available it's a waste of time to argue IMO....
Reminds me of the Christian Baker case.

I’m sure they did go somewhere else to have it printed. They filmed it and pursued it so that people like this employee would be held accountable for their actions…and they were. That makes perfect sense to me. If we allow people like that to get away with it, before you know it, there won’t be any places to print a picture like this.

As for the baker, he owned the business. That is a completely different situation.

Not just one point, but possibly multiple points are attempted to be made by various posters here, but is it all in hopes to maybe get the heat off of the left for participating indirectly (through their constant disinformation campaigns and rhetoric), that has since caused the murder of an innocent good Christian man now ???

Is that what is going on here with various posters ??

Depends on the situations or what's all involved. Each case can be different or unique.

Not with this one. I have no interest in getting the heat off the left.

My interest in this thread is something I've seen coming for a while now - some people want to add "political affiliation" to the protected classes of civil rights law. They want to ban discrimination based on politics. Do you?

There’s no law that requires them to print a picture of Charlie Kirk.

The Trump DoJ are authoritarians trying to intimidate people.

What about you? You're a liberal, right? You support anti-discrimination laws? Should businesses be able to discriminate based on political affiliation? Should I be able to refuse service to Democrats?

Or, if a van full of masked ICE thugs show up to my diner for some lunch, should I be able to block them from entering?

No, there is no law. Office Depot however can fire them for not abiding by company policy.

Wow. Congrats. You’re more knowledgeable about the laws of this nation than the current AG.

Some meritocracy.

A law banning discrimination on political affiliation would be a bad idea. Political affiliation is too murky to properly define.

That would prevent you from discriminating against literal Nazis, given that is a political affiliation.

There is no such thing as an unacceptable gender or religion, but there are unacceptable political parties.
