For all those Trump acolytes who swear that Trump is delivering EXACTLY on what he had promised, here is a hefty dose of REALITY (of course, there are many, many other “promises” that only a demagogue and charlatan could have made, to fool the easily manipulated and naïve cult.).

Carried interest only applies to hedge fund managers or private equity managers.
Its a commission on their sales, it should be treated as that sort of income.
Its not a capital gain, nor is it interest income.
Partnership interest is not the same thing as interest income, its share of a partership.
Its just a wall street shell game.
