Obama's reputation is toast, within the informational/ideological closed circuit that has formed over the last few years on the Right.
In the large world outside of that closed circuit, nothing has changed.
Mac1958, President Truman's historic stature has been constantly increasing. His demonstrated integrity and accomplishments of his administrations are being increasingly appreciated. He was among the finest of our presidents.
President Obama finally enacted a national health-plan law that established medical insurance for our entire population as a federal concern.
A great majority of USA voters will never again accept previous medical conditions as a reason for medical insurance to become individually unaffordable.
Those opposed to federal laws or insurance plans covering medical insurance will never be able to “get the genie back into the bottle”. The Republican Party has begun to realize if we don't improve, rather than eliminating the Affordable Care Act, USA will inevitably and sooner evolve to a universal single-payer government medical insurance system.
Obama's greatest failures were due to his continue attempting to placate his opponents when he clearly knew that they would do nothing in co-operation with his administration.
IMO President Obama's historic stature will also constantly be increasing. His integrity and accomplishments of his administrations will also be increasingly appreciated.
