Id like to think that we haven't all become so cynical as to appreciate random acts of kindness, doing the right thing. Did anyone see Keith Obermann's show the other evening where he was talking about his old High School History teacher...seems about 18 years ago, he booked a young speaker for "Black History Month". The speaker came...a 3rd year Harvard Law Student...and spoke of idealism and change. His name was Barack Obama and just as this story of his random act of kindness points out, it goes to the character of the man and the consistency of his message. No politicking necessary then; nothing to gain. Just the knowledge of making a difference in some high school student's lives. That gives him kudos in my book.
