Obama's Failing Economy- U.S. productivity sinks 3% in Fourth Quarter

Looks like the lefties big winners are CA and FL. Aprox 17,000 jobs combined.

Idaho ranked 1st but only added 688 total.

So... Unless you live in CA and Fl ...

Good luck

CA and FL are to be expected though. Big resort towns. Which is where are all of the jobs are ... Leisure and resort industry.

BlueGin got slapped silly with the numbers.

More Americans are working than anytime in our history.

Less than 6% of the those ninety four million not working are out of work. The others are retirees, those who don't work or can't work because of disability, don't have to work, are children, or choose not to work.

Tell that to the folks in the construction, transportation, mining oil, gas, retail and warehousing industries that have been laid off.

And nope not slapped silly. I was looking at the brand new dec jobs report for 2015.

Which matches workforce solutions report as well.

They are the unemployment folks BTW.

I am laughing about your examples.

Idaho's UE is about 4% or less.

Texas 4.7%

Colorado 3.5%

New York 4.8%

All of them are under the national rate.

just not in

Alaska
Illinois
Kansas
Louisiana
New Mexico
Montana
New Hampshire
N Dakota
Oklahoma
Pennsylvania
Wisconsin
And
Wyoming

So 38 state are below or at the rate of UE and 12 are above it.

Our UE is 5%, we have the most workers ever in the job place, we have 95 million not working because of retirement, illness, accident, school, early childhood, or choosing not to, and you are complaining as if the world is ending?

The world's economy is weak, and the US is propping it up. China can implode, and we will get by. If we implode, the whole world sinks.

Now name the states that have lost more jobs than they have gained over the past 12 mos.

Should I send you the article about NM's economy being " in the crapper"?

LOL

And they are actually ranked higher than 6 other states. 4 that ranked in the negative job growth numbers.

Blue, in other words, you are nitpicking because our economy is not perfect.

It's never been perfect, not even in the Clinton years.

So you are rooting for the economy to fall apart.

Regional and State Employment and Unemployment Summary

WURS!

The District of Columbia had one of the highest unemployment rates at 6.6 % NM 6.7% Alaska 6.5 %

NM decreased a measly .1%

The only thing that saved it from negative growth was increases in leisure and resort... Which is part time and seasonal . LOL

They had a puny expansion but the growth rate was slow and the new year is already bringing broader layoffs in the energy sector and 400 plus jobs from sprint.

The other states are probably the same. I will look them up to compare.

Non farm is also slowing

Have to take the better with the worse to have any cred, Blue. Just saying.

Seasonal and part time don't count as "better".

For one thing... Once the snow melts at the ski resorts they will all be laid off...and in line at unemployment.

Talk to me when construction, mining and the rest of the energy sector comes back.
