The bottom-line is the bottom-line. If the guys driving the bus did not make things better for someone personally, they will elect a new bus driver. The MSM gets too political when some issues transcend politics. The key question is short-term while the answer is always long-term. Look at oil policy as an example. Even if the GOP wins and opens up drilling, it may be 5-years to see any results, just in time for the next admin.

The only two pollsters on realclear's poll average that are showing Obama's approval net negative are Rasmussen and Foxnews.

Another month of a sluggish economy.
Another month of a bad housing market.

The Black population will vote for this man no matter what.

Really? Seems the women of this nation don't agree with you. As for the Secret Service, that has to do with them. You honestly think that any President would approve of actions that put his safety, and that of other high official, in jeopardy.

Gallup poll: Obama has 9-point lead over Romney in swing states - Los Angeles Times

A new Gallup poll shows that President Obama has opened up his largest lead over Mitt Romney to date, both nationally and among voters in a dozen key November battlegrounds.

Obama's 51% to 42% lead among registered voters in 12 "swing states" is his first over Romney in the USA Today/Gallup poll. Romney led in those states 48% to 46% in the previous survey in mid-February.

Romney gets lukewarm support even among republicans. The steady parade of chuckleheads the brought out as anybody but Romney attests to that. Romneys strongest support in the primaries came in Blue States. That will not carry over in the general election.

Romney has built an odd coalition comprised mostly of the ultra wealthy. He will have a sizable war chest but he has difficulty building momentum

His "like ability" factor is very low and when he tries to freelance on the election trail, his "creepy uncle Willard" persona comes out

The Republicans have to hope that the lukewarm support of Romney does not carry over to the Senate and House races
