"Violators" could also be charged with a Misdemeanor and could face up to a year in jail or a $25,000 penalty,Barthold wrote on JCT letterhead. He signed it "Sincerely,Thomas A. Barthold."

So there will be a Health Care Gestapo created after all. This is and never was just "Silly Paranoia" like so many were accused of by the Hopey Changey Sheep. This is reality. Lets just hope & pray that our Politicians stand on the side of Freedom & Liberty and do not support this current health care legislation. We do not have to be forced to give up more of our Freedom & Liberty in the name of possibly better health care. Just isn't a wise trade-off in my humble opinion. Surely we can fix our health care without further oppressing the people. I hope all will urge their representatives in Congress to vote against this legislation.

I think the concept of "Buy insurance or go to jail" is a big laugh. Here in Illinois, and I'm sure other states are the same, there is a large number of people driving cars without insurance and it's a law to have it if you operate a motor vehicle on the highway. So, not being able to enforce auto insurance laws, how are they going to enforce an "Buy insurance or go to jail policy"? With all the flax going around about people not having health insurance to start with because they couldn't afford it, all of a sudden making it mandatory is going to some how magically make those people be able to afford insurance? It's absolutely insane. This folks, is one of the reasons I think this health care reform bullshit is exactly that - bullshit.

Yea it really is shocking to me that so many are so willing to just give away their Freedoms & Liberties all in the name of "It's for your own good." All of our politicians should always stand on the side of more Freedom & Liberty not less. Many Leftists in this country keep pointing to Western Europe and especially Great Britain to show how "wonderful" everything is with almost complete Government dominance in their lives. Well are things really so wonderful over there? What have their people given up to supposedly receive that "better health care?" I read a story the other day where Great Britain has now actually created a "Fat Police Gestapo" with the authority to storm citizens' homes and confiscate their children if deemed "Obese" by the State. They will then charge and prosecute the parents for "Child Abuse." Some parents over there are now actually agreeing to the Government putting cameras in their homes to monitor that they're taking care of their children "properly." These parents are forced to agree with these cameras being installed if they want their children back. Is this really what we want in our country? People in this country better start thinking real hard before just giving away all their freedoms. Lets hope they do before it's too late.

All the loyal Leftists in this country who keep pointing to Western Europe and Cuba as their examples of "Utopian Health Care",really need to take a closer look at those nations and how their people have been systematically stripped of their Freedoms & Liberties. The people of Western Europe and especially in the UK still believe that they are free but in reality they are not.
