I wanted a link to which Congress slashed this program. Republican majority only came back in the year 2011.

Before that it was Democrat.

The budget for this fiscal year is a continuation of the GOP budget from the last two years. Go look it up. I am not about to do your heavy lifting and self education.

1- Republicans have preached that "government cant protect us". So, why not slash it?
2- Republicans LOVE any slashed government spending, so why not slash it?
3- If Obama had increased it instead, we'd have gotten nutty right wingers accusing him of growing government and planning a Homeland Security FEMA New World Order.

If you believe that is true PROVE THAT IS TRUE.

Of course until we know who did this crime (and why) we have no idea if HSA would have been in a position to dsicover the perp and/or prevent this event.

If this person is a lone wolf, HSA's ability to find and stop him would have been mighty mighty slim.
