Guess you didn't get the memo, he didn't do it, his staff went through the motions using paperwork, not the web site. So it's your post that's bullshit, as usual.

This is nothing more than a symbolic gesture of political theater for stupid people like the OP

hahaha! - obviously-----obviously it's political theatre they're politicians but in this case Obama's theatre is only in response to the Republican's Kabukiesque amendment.
ODS much?

"Obama promised to sign up for coverage under the law in March 2010, after Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) proposed an amendment to the law requiring the president to do so.

"We think the amendment is unnecessary," then-White House spokesman Reid Cherlin said at the time. "The president will participate in the exchange. But let's be clear: The amendments being offered by Senate Republicans, including this one, are just a ploy to delay the bill.""

Obama signed up for health insurance in DC

Maggie Fox and Stacey Klein NBC News

President Barack Obama was signed up for largely symbolic health insurance coverage over the weekend, the White House said Monday. He chose one of the cheapest plans “as a show of support” for the millions of Americans his administration is trying to steer towards the new online exchanges.

All presidents and their immediate families get coverage through the military. As Commander-in-Chief, any president has a personal physician and he and his family get full care at the White House Medical Unit and the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.

Good he is about the only one that can afford it--

The ACA is not nearly as good as you think it is, and it's not nearly as bad as cons think it is. Overall, if the damn website had been working properly, we wouldn't be seeing so much controversy. There are good deals for the uninsured if they receive a tax credit. This has made health insurance affordable to many who could never have afforded it in the past. For those who make a lot of money, they most likely already had high deductible policies with HSA's, so the new plans will not affect them in any real way. The ones who are truly being affected are those who are older and earn just a bit too much to receive a tax subsidy. They are getting dumped on hard, and we really need to take another look at the reasoning behind that.

To further explain, a couple in their 60's who earn over $64,000 ( I believe that is the amount or it's right in that vicinity) will end up paying around $13,000 per year for a bronze plan with a family deductible of $12,700. If this couple gets sick, they could end up paying over $25,000 per year for medical care. That is nearly 40% of their income. On the other hand, a family of four earning $35,000 per year will get a great plan with a deductible as low as $100 and a max out of pocket of $1000, and it will only cost them $200 per month or so. Their kids will be put on the state plan. So yea, there are problems with the ACA; it's not nearly perfect and changes need to be made. The dumb thing is that we could be addressing these types of issues if both sides would sit down and actually discuss how to make the ACA better rather than Republicans continually trying to repeal the whole damn thing when they know there is no chance of that happening.

It's an insult. He has the best care there is and congress has a special website, not available to the public. Of course, he doesn't need to sign up and will keep his excellent health care. He may as well just say, "Let them eat cake", as he pretends to sign up knowing that millions lost their plans and can no longer afford any insurance.

Until congress goes to the Obamacare website and types in their personal information, I would suggest that no one do that.
