Why? I'm very curious to hear why you think so. I believe it is one of the biggest mistakes that this country has ever made, and we've made lots of 'em. It was a travesty. I truly believe that this war was initiated for the monetary benefit of buscho's cronies in the private security biz at the expense of tax payers, and for no other reason. None of their "reasons" for it add up, and I do believe that they cooked intelligence. If I'm right, I do hope that one day they are made to pay for what they did to this country.
Well, sir, if you are right...and I don't think you are...then Mr. Bush, Mr. Chenney, and EVERY member of congress who voted for it, have a LOT of explaining to do.
You see, the problem with your request for an explaination is moot. No matter what reason is given, you're not going to change your stance. Or you would have done so long ago when all the good reasons were given. There were plenty of reasons offered that many very objective people were willing to go along with. But if removing a ruthless murderous tyrant from power isn't enough, then that's on your own conscience. Not anyone elses. I'm sure that you would agree, well maybe not publicly, that the logic behind a get rich quick scheme as a reason for the US to go and invade another country is kinda dumb. If it were that easy to plan, it would have been that easy to see prior to any declaration.
