It's an interesting set of hypotheticals but I think at the end it will play out as conventional wisdom dictates with the election depending on Nevada, Colorado, Iowa, Ohio, Virginia, and New Hampshire. I project at this time that Obama will only take Colorado from that set but it's way too early to say that with a great degree of confidence.

I wouldn't count Romney in quite yet. The Thompson campaign should be catching fire any day now.

I wish gallup and raz would start taking polls adding vp's to the ticket. especially a romney/McDonnell ticket. Romney does need a VP pick that will help him sweep the south and the mid-west. Im sure McDonnell would be the right man for that scenario.

McDonnell, Rubio, or Ryan. My guess would be McDonnell. But then again it might be a surprise like 2008... God I hope not.
