Families are suffering. They are mourning. There is deep loss here.

I've been to Dover following what occurred aboard USS Iowa on April 19, 1989

We didn't need a fucking politician running for reelection then - we sure as shit don't need one now.

This Obama guy is a complete fucking asshole

I am glad he attended. It was a mandatory appointment, as Commander In Chief. And I would have shaken his hand, if I was there, and had the opportunity.

But to leak a photo as his attendance there was some sort of a fucking "accomplishment" before he departs for vacation in Martha's Vineyard?

It's all poliltics/campaigning with that asshole.

It will be a wonderful day when his pathetic ass is voted out of office.

My prayers to the families of those brave men who perished serving their country.

he did have to be there as president....

as i have said...the gop will with the aid of the tea party ...fuck up the election...i truly believe and have said this for a while...there is no difference in who is running the parties....the parties exist only to allow partisanship to overcome common sense...everyone is so convinced its the other guy they never look at what their party is doing wrong.....i have about had it with the democrats...but i could never be a republican simple as that...its a shame bill clinton started free speech zones...i remember when this whole country was a free speech zone....how the hell can it be legal to protest at a soldiers funeral but not at a politcal meeting

Was it staged? I don't know that...

What I do know is that there are always camera around him. I also know that he knows it too. He should have given strict order not to publish those photos, due to the family wishes.

Now, what's more important to Obama: looking good or family wishes?

The majority of families did not want photos, therefore NO photos.

Obama didn't care and wanted a photo (more than likely not the only one taken) so he could blast it for all to see how much he cares and respects the troops, so he got a photo. Even though there were supposed to be none.

Simple.

Obama completely disregarded the families' wishes for his own gain.

That makes Obama a dickhead in this situation.

Now some defend him.

That makes those that defend him dickheads as well.

It was in bad taste because it violated Pentagon policy that restricts all photographs of any transfer ceremony that is objected to by any family members, even if it does not show the coffins. Obama is showing that he does not care about anything or anyone but himself.
