You have no idea who you are messing with. Hell I jumped out of my truck one saturday afternoon at a busy intersection, yanked an asswhole out of his car because he cussed me and kick the shit out of him.

Yeah that didn't happen. But if it had, it wouldn't make you any less ignorant of economics.

It happened it freaked my wife out.
Peple were yelling kick his ass kick his ass.
Loo I don't lie and what I would say to you here I would say to your face.
OH and as for the economy and its working. If you say this mess was created by Republicans that proves without a doubt you do not know what you are talking about. I suggest that you go hit the books.

No it didn't. And you don't have a wife. You're a teenager.

Anyway, I didn't say the Republicans "did it." Private sector greed "did it," and the shitty government oversight let it get out of hand; And all 3 branches of government were dominated by Republicans during the years leading up to the collapse. I could argue that the whole mess started with Reagan and his Chief of Staff Don Regan (Of Merrill Lynch), where all the significant de-regulation began to take hold.
Remember Bush's first stupid stimulus? $600 a head to most Americans? That was a ploy to delay the imminent collapse. They were hoping to sustain the economy long enough for the Democrats to get in control so they could be scapegoated; Only missed the mark by a few damn months, too. Nevertheless, fellas like you are so anxious to blame Democrats for some ******* reason I don't understand, that you'll believe any stupid thing the GOP tells you.

The Democrats caused this? Hardly. The private sector did this, with the GOP's blessing. That's well documented. Now you want to toss out the people trying to help you for not helping fast enough. Listen, a disappointing friend is better than a deadly enemy.

Again, Enron and the recall of Gray Davis come to mind. It's very sad. I can't reach you through a computer but do some research, you will find it's not nearly as simplistic as they're trying to tell you.

To be fair, going by his postings and lack of grammar etc, he is a pretty simplistic guy.

As for Raygun, I did some research about a year ago, and even saw a YouTube video, which showed him deregulating the Building societies in America. Some believe that was the start..

WHY are YOU quoting Something *I* didn't WRITE?

I think a session with GUNNY is in order here....and will be reported.

The bigPinkfairy made the claim, it's his to prove. If I say I ran the 100m in 9.1 seconds, does it immediately go into the record books, or do I need to prove it?

Oh, shut the **** up.
1) do you think Gunny scares me?
2) do you think he, or any mod for that matter, gives a flying **** about the quote marks being left out (which is even obvious in your own post)
3) You have lost the debate because you have been hugely sidetracked by something so irrelevent, I wouldn't bother commenting on it, unless I could see some sort of benefit of me trying to educate your ignorant arse....

It certainly was, Grump. Deregulation, economic bloat, outsourcing, trade deficits, precipitous national debt; Reaganomics was the beginning of all of it. It's been boiling below the surface for 30 years and now the booze cruise has just hit the iceberg.

And the RAT cuyo needs to prove the assertion...

ALL from WHAT policies? STATIST DEMOCRATS...Republicans are Guilty of not fighting strongly enough against it, and LACK of ******* SPINE.

Why? He didn't make the claim..

BTW, the 'Rat' and I are the only two who are even attepting to stay on topic, in amongst all the rhetoric...

Back on topic, child. You still haven't proven you're not actually 2 midgets. And it's not that important to me. I know it's a lie, that's good enough for me. I don't care what you believe. Your man crush on that loser Mark Levin proves you'll believe anything.

Well, Ok, yee fountain of knowledge, what is the answer? What would have YOU done if you had been in charge? (and the standard neocon answer and solution to all questions - "no" - will not be good enough.)

I'm betting you don't have a workable/feasible answer...

*EASY* LESS Government.

Is it that HARD for some of you? REALLY?

I'm sorry, I don't speak Sloganeese. You'll have to be more specific. Especially because, by and large, this happened as a result of "Less Government."

Exactly. You gotta take credit for the things that happen on your watch. Period.

Housing Bubble & Wall Street Meltdown

These things happened under Bush and they put America in a financial hole that will swallow more than just the Obama presidency. Bush turned a healthy country into Japan, which has been fighting (and losing to) recessionary pressures for over a decade. [People don't understand what happens when you destroy the housing market and the financial system in one short period. The game is over. History will record the Bush years as a turning point]

Obama needs to take responsibility for his timid stimulus, which was far less than what was needed. He also needs to take responsibility for completing the Bush TARP. Rather than worrying about what the Right would do if big government intervened and put Wall Street crooks in jail, he merely bailed them out.

Obama's failure to take a stand against the corporations who own government is a mistake that can never be corrected.

Does America have amnesia? The Democrats are pathetic, but the GOP are fiscal criminals.

The Democrats in Congress are responsible for TARP and its extensions. Obama has turned what should have been a mild recession into a prolonged period of Japan style lethargy. Your contention that the stimulus wasn't big enough is a joke.

Yes...The Democratx are responsible for TARP

At a time when the financial markets were in a panic, the stock market had lost 7000 points, companies were shedding workers at 700,000 a month...TARP showed that the US Government would stand behind the banks

Once TARP passed, the panic subsided and the economy was saved from a Depression

But TARP passed under Bush. So did Bush bring us back from the brink?

TARP was a mistake. Those entities deserved to FAIL because of Govenment policies.

No Slogan of it you ******* moron.

Obama is still not accepting responsibility. Yet the progressive libs blame Bush for 9/11 after he was in office for 8 months.

I never blamed Bush for 911. That is stupid.

However I can never forgive him for nor forget how he used 911 for his other political ends. ie Iraq.

911 was an inevitable event primarially due to our messing around with the ME for many years.

There is no reason to blame bush for things he did not do he has so many deeds he justly deserves blame for. No need to add to the already high total.
