Based on a finding that World Vision hired a group to do work on a humanitarian project in Egypt and subsequently learned through another contractor that the group had ties to Al Qaeda. Since World Vision is funded by the US government, they cannot deal with groups with connections to Al Qaeda.

World Vision notified the State Department of the issue and asked for direction. The Al Qaeda connected group had already done some of the humanitarian work, and was owed money for it. If World Vision failed to pay them, they would be subject to lawsuits in Egypt, and repercussions. Obama gave them permission to pay the money owed to the group for the work they had done and World Vision terminated the balance of the contract.

Easy, and other posters on this board, and Republicans Senators, are now using this issue to claim that Obama funded an Al Qaeda connected terrorist group.

This is how pathetic and desperate Republican are to smear Obama. Easy has always been that desperate and gullible.
