When the Left calls for civility, it’s bullshit because it’s usually them lecturing from their own appointed position of moral authority to give the impression that the lack of civility rests solely with the Conservatives. One need not look any further than Trump rally attendees getting egged or physically assaulted or when a Kamala Harris or a Maxine Waters implies there will be violence if they don’t get the outcome they want.

An Obama or a Trump calling for civility solely is going to go nowhere. Both are divisive. What is needed is a strong liberal and a strong conservative to stand together and not only call for civility, but show civility in healthy discourse and discussion of ideas.
