Obama criticized by multiple news outlets for refusing to acknowledge Trump's epic Peace Agreement and Hostage Release.

Well, I hate to piss on your parade, but this is 'peace agreement' isn't going to have much more of an impact long term than the other 'peace agreement's' and ceasefires they've had in the past.

But be that as at may, I give Trump some credit for having the balls to stand up to Bibi and to try and force his hand. Longer term, it won't work because Israel doesn't want a Palestinian state, and Hamas won't give up their arms until they get a Palestinian state (or die trying).
With multiple Muslim nations coming into Gaza to assist with the rebuilding both physical and economically this time may be different... Israel wants a peaceful Palestinian state and nothing brings peace like prosperity... but I know what you are saying anything could blow this up...

multiple news outlets?????

The editorial you posted doesn’t say that.

Of course the organs of the right wing Trump noise machine will try and make something out of it.

The sheep will bob their heads.

Nah, what changed is that Qatar got bombed - twice. And Qatar and the Gulf states are getting sick of Israel's shit. Qatar wonders what value does the US defense umbrella provide if they're going to get bombed by both Israel and Iran (because of a war that Israel started). Why do you think we're offering Qatar a base of operations now in the US?

No, they don't. Israel doesn't want a Palestinian state. They want to expand their borders. That means no West Bank, no Gaza, and probably parts of southern Lebanon, too.

I disagree...look at Gaza it could be the riviera of the middle east... with SA and Egypt and Pakistan working together this could be a new day... lets be positive...

Respectfully, nah. I don't see it.

This is a pause. Trump made Israel stand down for a moment because Israel was threatening our regional interests and because the real MAGAs (like the late Charlie Kirk) are tired of Israel First and want to get back to America First.

But the Israel lobby owns America's political system, including the Biden/Harris/Pelosi Democrats, and also including MAGA.

Hamas isn’t interested in a Palestinian state. Hamas, like all other Middle East neighbors, wants Israel to GTFO.

It's true that if you go back to 1947 - 1967, the Palestinians/Arabs didn't want an Israeli state and many still don't but I think it's understood now that Israel's an immovable object.

Hamas is willing to give up their arms provided that assurances can be made that there's a Palestinian state. But Israel doesn't want one.

Radicals may assassinate Muslim leaders just like what they did to Sadat.

Hamas needs to stop with these random attacks. Doing so will only invite ultra right wing like Bibi into office. Let’s just say the Palestinians fucked up royally when they had to chance to deal with Rabin and Barak. The ball is currently in their court. One surprise attack against Israel and this deal will fall apart.

You are Israel First, not America First.
