I think if the mandate says its unconstitutional by 2 courts the supreme court will do the same with out this mandate to make us pay a penalty there is no funding for the law there for no law. I do not want to do away with elections. I DO want to do away with ALL ability that Congress has to dispense the taxpayer's money as benevolence or favor to any person, group, entity, or special interest. That would take care of a huge chunk of graft and corruption in Congress and also among the beneficiaries of the 'benevolence'. It would also take the problem out of lobbying and campaign contributions.

BUT in the same breath, something has to be done about the out-of-control costs of health care. Tort reform would only efect the pricing by 2% or less. The cost of health care is a contributor to our staggering economy.
According to the Kaiser Foundation, health care insurance costs have gone up 113% from 2001 to 2011 and it's not just because of Obamacare as the costs have been at this steady rate long before Obamacare was even thought about.
