Sharpton was languishing in the shadows after decades of inflaming hatred in Black people. Then in 2009 Obama was elected and Sharpton was immediately elevated to Presidential race advisor status. That was when Black-White race relations reversed course and became the hateful, divisive mess we have today. Obama and Sharpton set us back 60 years.
