We all remember Bush's great SEC Chairman - Chris Cox, a failed lawyer whose claim to success was helping the House manage Clinton's $billion impeachment.

His insight and 'free enterprise' bravado led S&P to help banks and brokers peddle $400 trillion in worthless mortgage derivatves - with a AAA rating

Thw whole plan was to allow the Banks to sell securities without any oversight of what they were really selling.

It worked great except the idiots didnt KNOW like sane people do that that meant the banks would CHEAT their hineys off to make money giving no shizz what happened to the gresater economy
